Norton Protection Center with Vista always call for full system scan

After I upgraded to Vista and from Norton Antivirus 2006 to 2007, I see alert under Norton Protection Center to "Fix Now".
It ask for full system scan. I already "full scan" 4 times and "Fix Now" is still displaying, pointed to Full System Scan.

I contact Symantec and it is disaster.

Norton Removal tool -> Norton Update -> full scan and ....
"Failed to migrate Virus Defs 0x80004005
Request to Configure, reboot and over again, the same error message.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I don't suppose it will be any consolation
to know that you are one of the many thousands of people who have
experienced difficulties with Norton products. This is why you will have
a hard time finding a tech (like me) who doesn't *sell* Norton to
recommend it.

If you cannot persist with Symantec tech support and/or forums, I can
only suggest that you post in the CastleCops Symantec forums if they
still have them and maybe someone there can walk you through untangling
the mess.

Norton 360 (vista) has been VERY stable here with zero issues. It caught
stuff that OneCare didn't.

I'm one very happy customer with Norton 360.
