Anyone have ideas? Thanks, Walter I just wanted to share what i did to get rid of this error. I got a registry repair program that wasn't taking care of it. I remember the problem starting when i first downloaded avast so before doing a full recovery with like 5 days of program downloading (not fun) I uninstalled avast for the hell of it, then sinse startup always didn't manage to get windows live messenger beta running 100% i took that off too. Scanned the registry, rebooted, redownloaded the two programs but made sure the messenger wasn't the beta version and viola! no more error message. Hopeing this can help....
