Live Messenger port assignment

I want to restrict Messenger access to my daughter, and the firewall that I
have, I can allow ports to be open and closed on a schedule. what port does
Live Messenger use?

Hello,

Instead of using the firewall, why don't you use the Parental Control
features offered by Vista and the Times allowed feature?
