| Guest | Security Centre From installing VISTA I have been obtaining the red cross on the security centre icon in spite of updates, and defender being switched on. I was using AVG Antivirus which may not have been recognised by the centre but that has now changed. I have installed Windows Live One Care, trial version, and during the installation AVG was removed bit I am still getting the red cross in the Security Centre while One Care is indicating the status as good. Suggestions, please. |

Reinstalling One Care should fix the Security Center issue. -- Jim |

| Guest | Re: Security Centre Same thing happened with me today. Been running Vista Premium with Norton IS without problems for about 5 weeks, then I see the red X. Security Center tells me that I have no Firewall or AV (Both are included in NIS 2007 and were running) and also the same defender problem already mentioned. Using system restore worked.
