| Guest | BitLocker Command Line Tool? I'm trying to track down info on the command line tool for BitLocker but haven't had any luck. I need to script turning it on and such for our deployment tests. Thanks |

| Guest | Re: BitLocker Command Line Tool? manage-bde.wsf This tool is written in VBScript to allow customization and uses the WMI interface to BitLocker. You can either manually run it under cscript, or (as most people do) follow the instructions when you type "manage-bde" for the first time to configure cscript as the default scripting host. - Jamie Hunter [MS] "MMarable" <MMarable@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:648FFF42-CFC4-4309-9184-36F85B2148E0@microsoft.com... > I'm trying to track down info on the command line tool for BitLocker but > haven't had any luck. > > I need to script turning it on and such for our deployment tests. > > Thanks |

| Newbie Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Re: BitLocker Command Line Tool? Hi, We are soon moving to Vista SP1. Our computers have a C, D and an S partition, which is the bootable one. We are going to enable BitLocker on both C and D, and we want to use TPM + PIN. AD schema is extended and a GPO which enables the PIN option is in place. Can we use manage-bde.wsf to enable BitLocker the way we want? Or is it any better way to do this? Please advice. Best regards, Morty |
