registry key disappears

I want to add a register key to the registry, but every time, in a view
seconds, the key disappears.
Is there some kind of security setting that I have to make to keep the key?
The location for the key to make is in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft
\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\PublishingWizard\InternetPhotoPrinting
\DownloadedProviders.
The key is mending to upload files to an on-line photo store. In my case I
want to upload photos to a photo gallery (coppermine).
