Vista - tray icon windows defender

Irv n/a posts	tray icon windows defender I cannot get the tray icon to appear unless I go to Control panel, Security, Windows Defender the icon pops right up in the tray. I have chosen "Choose when WD appears in the tray" I selected "Always"
