Parental controls, cant access

When running as an administrator, with both UAC turned on and off. When I go
into parental controls in the control panel, and select an account I want to
set up controls on. The parental controls dialog starts to paint itself, and
then exits out with a dialog that says:
[Window Title]
Windows Parental Controls

[Content]
Unable to make changes to parental controls settings. If this problem
persists, see your system administrator.

[OK]

So I saw myself and myself told me to post this question here?

Re: Parental controls, cant access

Checked the event logs, Jeff. Click Start, type eventvwr.msc and press ENTER. See if there are any errors registered during the time when the error message appeared.

Check the Application, Security logs, and also this one:

Re: Parental controls, cant access

Hi,

I have the same problem.

Bellow the error registering in events log, the same error several
times, during the error message. Sorry the log is in french.
I'm logged with an administrator user I created : "admin".
The original user created at the first time launching vista is
"najemdine". I change this account from "administrator" to "standard"
user.
When I acceed parental control for this user, it's work fine.
When I create a new standard user, I have the same error acceding
parental control.

The errors below are : "failed to open account session" and "unknow
user name or incorrect password"

The OS is vista basic.
I hope I was clear.
Thank you for any help.
