Vista Tutorial - installed NIS 2007 on vista laptop, now I cannot connect to the internet

when I uninstall nis2007, I'm fine. reinstall, and I cannot access the
internet again. I cannot find any settings. Once the laptop does the
post-NIS2007 live update (from the trial that came with the new
laptop) then I cannot access the internet. Has anyone else experienced
this>

Windows OneCare antivirus has one of the lowest catch rates in the
industry and is not recommended. Better choices are NOD32, Kaspersky,
and Avast if a free av is desired.

Norton really isn't great software since Symantec came along but there is not to many choices in Firewalls
yet but you can refer to this guide..

I as well would suggest to uninstall NIS2007 as even if it works it's resource heavy.

BTW: The setting you're looking for is probably in the network settings if you choose to keep NIS.

Uninstall NIS2007 and get your money back. I had a terrible time with both
that and NAV2007. I ended up with Norton's 360 and for some reason haven't
have a problem with it. There are also quite a few free AV software
packages out there that some people swear by.
