Some of those people may not Be Nice. I mention this to you for your own security, not to give you a hard time. There's nothing you can do about it now but you can remember not to do it again. As for your request, it is possible that someone will be willing to help you (not me since I do tech support for a living and my volunteer work is here in the newsgroups), but unless you live in the Back Of Beyond a better solution for you would be to have a local computer tech come on-site and fix you up. Of course, that would not be free... The alternative would be to clearly and concisely describe your problem here in the newsgroup and get help that way. Here is a link that will show you what details to include in your next newsgroup post: http://www.dts-l.org/goodpost.htm Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!" This is by design. OneCare, however, has one of the lowest virus catch rates in the industry and is not recommended. Instead, I recommend that you use NOD32, Kaspersky, or even Avast (free) for your antivirus and the built-in Windows Firewall. There are third-party firewalls if you want more control (and complexity) but if you just want simplicity, use the Windows Firewall.
