| | Multiple OS with denied access to NTFS drive, from Vista Hi.. I had Windows XP on C: (partition on single physical drive). I installed Vista on E: (another logical partition). After I booted and entered Vista, I found that I am unable to access my C: drive on Vista. Whenever I click on the drive, it says "Access is denied". I tried setting security permissions for the drive. (I'm adminstrator), but even as it set individual file permissions, it told me that it could not set permissions for some files. Now I'm unable to access that drive. Since the majority of disk free space is on that drive, I need to urgently use it. Also all my user data is on it. How do I make Drive C visible on my Vista? Please help!! Thanking you in advance. |
