Bitlocker Key on internal SD reader

My laptop has an internal SD reader and is registered as such (not a usb
drive).

Is there anyway I can fool BitLocker into thinking its a USB drive? It is
still removable memory, and it would be much easier than a usb drive.

I don't know, but it would have to be available at boot & I have never seen
this with a card reader.
You only have to insert the USB key at boot for a few seconds each day
(that's if you shutdown daily) so i'm not sure how much easier it gets?

Re: Bitlocker Key on internal SD reader

Then Ill probably do that, but do I have to do it after I wake it up from
sleep?

I dont shutdown that often, I sleep it most of the time.

Bitlocker works fine with an SD card and reader rather than a USB drive.
There is nothing special you need to do to get it working just save
the Bitlocker key to the SD Drive rather than a USB Drive.
