| Guest | Re: Security Setting The articles I am reffering to are from "How to troubleshoot Internet Explorer 7 issues in Windows Vista" web page on Microsoft support site. I followed each link from there trying to trouble shoot this problem. Yes, I tried resetting IE7, I tried setting up a new user account and starting the computer using the clean boot method. In all cases it the problem still occured until I turned off "Enable Protection Mode" "PA Bear" wrote: > X-post to Vista Security newsgroup for further exposure/input > > What article are you referring to, Don? > > Do you see the same behavior after resetting IE7 > (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737)? > -- > ~PA Bear > > > Don wrote: > > I tried running it in no add-ons mode and it still does it, I also tried > > in > > safe mode with networking and IE works, per the article I was reading it > > had > > me diable the "enable protection mode" which then allowed it to run > > normally.
