| Guest | Strange Problem - PC uploads alot of data Hi, My PC seems to upload a lot of data,like today for example,my downloads were 26megs and my uploads were about 9megs.I can have 4megs of downloads and 2megs of uploads.Does that sound strange to anyone? Is there any software that shows what websites I am connected to,and what files or data or email my pc is sending etc ??? Thanks |

Start a command prompt and type: netstat -a > ,and > what files or data or email my pc is sending etc ??? In the general case, no. Programs send data, not files or email or anything else useful if you don't understand the protocol they're using. You can monitor that data with something like wireshark, but you need to be aware of the legal implications of using such software as it can potentially monitor somebody elses data sent via your computer, depending on how your network is set up.
