Norton's Internet Security

I've just bought a new lap top with Vista Basic. Will my copy of Norton's
Internet Security 2005 run on it?

No. FYI, in researching issues like this a good place to check is the
software author's web site.

I recommend not using any of the norton security products in Vista (or in XP
for that matter). For AV I recommend Avast (free) or Kaspersky or NOD32
(both paid). Use the Vista firewall.
