What does "all of my software" mean? If you mean you had recovery disks
from your computer mftr. (like HP, Compaq, eMachines, etc.) you will
need to contact that company for replacement. It usually is not
expensive but that depends on the company of course.

If you mean you had a retail version of Vista, see:

Re: I lost my software

No that's not what he means at all.
He means, like me, after upgrading to Vista, so many thing wont work,
Things like my Sound Blaster Card, and it's software which I loved...
My Scanner, Partition Magic, Ghost, and on and on...
All I can say is think it over real well before changing to Vista.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.
I am frustrated enough at this point with all the little stupid
idiosyncrasies of Vista
that I'm thinking of changing back to XP.
I think MS made a big mistake with Vista, rejecting so much of peoples
Software & Hardware...

Re: I lost my software

No seriously I have lost all of my software so yes thats what I mean. I dont
really want to pay the $200 to replace it and it is pissing me off fully. any
suggestions on what I should do? If I could find a copy of the software that
I could buy from someone that wont cost me an arm and a leg I will.

In the original post you said you lost "all my software", and in this post
you state I don't want to pay to replace "it". So what exactly are you
talking about? What did you loose? Be specific, name version, CD, product
key, etc.

Why is it "pissing [you] off?" (Other than at yourself, that is.) If
you forgot where you parked your car, would you expect Ford to give you
a new one? If you lost your wallet, would you expect your bank to
replenish whatever cash was in it? Bottom line: You made a mistake,
you need to learn to accept the consequences of that mistake.

As you've already been told:

If it was a retail license and you have proof of purchase:

How to Replace Lost, Broken, or Missing Microsoft Software or Hardware

If it was an OEM license, you should contact the computer's
manufacturer.
