Windows Defender

Hi, I have noticed that my Windows Defender has an error message. It is
telling me that the program cannot check for definition updates and has an
Error Code: 0x80240029. I cnnot find any fixes, neither can I uninstall
Windows Defender, when I go into my computer and uninstall/install windows
defender it does not appear to be there. I am running vista, can anyone help
me please?

RE: Windows Defender

Thanks for that. Hopefully Microsoft will sort a 'fix'out soon, but in the
meantime, if I do find something out or if anyone else does, I will be sure
to let you know. Cheers
