Antivirus recommendations

HI,
Can anyone recommend a good antivirus suite for Vista (Not Norton).
I am currently using the free trial of AVG Pro but just wondered what your
views on AV Products for vista are.

Regards

John

Re: Antivirus recommendations

I'm using McAfee Total Protection with no problems. Some have reported it
uses to many resources but not in my case.

Re: Antivirus recommendations

I started using the Microsoft Live OneCare, and from what I can tell it is
pretty good; the fact that it is a microsoft product just boosts its ease of
use, and you know that it doesnt just sit along side another firewall like
AVG, but rather enhances the current firewall. I have used Norton, AVG,
BitDefender, and McAffe, and by far Microsoft's is the best. Remember, when
it comes to firewalls, it is not quantity of features, it is ease of use and
being able to trust the program.

Re: Antivirus recommendations

64 bit severely limits any choice, even live one care isn't available for it.
32 bit however so far AVG was the only one that didn't lock me out of half my regular programs or remotely made any sense to the user.
One care deleted my Autodesk product registry key settings which for engineering is ridiculous.
Also locked out any VPN related job applications so I abandoned it.
Was a shame because I did sort of like it at first.
The price of $50 a year was too high as well.
