MP3's

I took my old hard drive and am using it as a storage device through a USP
connection. When I try to copy my MP3's to Vista I am told I don't have
access and file in use.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

If you hadn't encrypted the data files, you may be facing nothing
more than a simple permissions issue. Have you tried taking ownership
of the old folders?

(The article refers to WinXP, but the method remains the same in Vista.)

Re: MP3's

I gave myself all rights on both the destination and original floder and
files but I still can't copy. I get a message, "you'll need to provide
administrator permission to copy this file."

Thanks
