Windows Defender

Whenever I change homepages, Windows Defender wants me to Permit or Deny the change. Aren't there supposed to be other options like Always Allow? How do I permanently allow Internet Explorer to change the home page?

Re: Windows Defender

Hi Mark,

You can't. Windows Defender was designed to notify you of any change made to the startups. You can make some adjustments in Defender's TOOLS > OPTIONS (Under Real Time Protection) in Control Panel for what it will or will not notify you for.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

D'Oh! I didn't realize there was a whole SLEW of options if only I had
scrolled down! <smacks forehead with palm of hand>. I really need to be
more observant!

Mark,

HaHa. One wouldn't see it if they didn't scroll down.

Glad it helped,
