Let's pretend you have a partition set up for just the swap/pagefile
and Temp Internet files- are those files encrypted also? How about
if those same files are stored on another drive?

As the partition would map to another volume, the simple answer is no, they
would not.
Encryption can be turned on individually for PageFiles via policy (I don't
have the details at hand). To take advantage of BitLocker, you would keep
all these files on the OS volume for this initial version.
