Microsoft documentation about file system permissions

Hello,

Is anyone aware of Microsoft documentation that covers the default NTFS file
system permissions for Vista, such as permissions for the C:\ drive root,
Windows directory, Documents & Settings and so forth, and/or explains why
certain file system permissions are included by default and/or required?

Thanks.

For previous OSs we've had to wait for a KB article to come out. So far, I
can't find anything in the KB, Vista's pages, or MSDN. (For a time, MS even
removed the article for 2000 from the KB).

Re: Microsoft documentation about file system permissions

What are the knowledge base articles explaining default file permissions for
Windows 2003 and 2000?
