| Microsoft documentation about file system permissions Hello, Is anyone aware of Microsoft documentation that covers the default NTFS file system permissions for Vista, such as permissions for the C:\ drive root, Windows directory, Documents & Settings and so forth, and/or explains why certain file system permissions are included by default and/or required? Thanks. -- Ivan |

For previous OSs we've had to wait for a KB article to come out. So far, I can't find anything in the KB, Vista's pages, or MSDN. (For a time, MS even removed the article for 2000 from the KB). -- David Dickinson eveningstar at die-spammer-die dash mvps dot org Please reply only to the newsgroup, not by email. |
