Adobe reader 8

I have a new Dell E520 that is running Vista Business. When I try to print a
document in Adobe reader 8 , DEP keeps shutting down the program. I've gone
into the advanced tab and tried to put exe file on the exclusion list.
Windows advises that the program must run with DEP turned on. What can I do
to fix this?

Make sure you've got the newest version of Adobe Reader 8.1 (although that
probably won't help).

Which exe files did you try to exclude from DEP? Make sure you've tried
both of these:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe.

C:\Windows\Installer\{AC76BA86-7AD7-1033-7B44-A81000000003}\SC_Reader.exe

Others are experiencing this problem (as well as other problems related to
DEP). You might just have to wait for Microsoft and/or Adobe to publish an
update.

Hi Playproject,

If what David suggested doesn't help you any, you might go to this link below and scroll down a bit and look at this section:
How to Enable/Disable DEP:

It will show you how to turn off DEP completely.

Hope this helps,
