Re: Error 0x80070002

Hello,

does it tell you any other message? Have you maybe upgraded to Vista:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935511/en-us ?

Greetings,

Re: Error 0x80070002

It does say
"Application failed to initialize"
I followed the system restore steps but the problem was not resolved. It
only restored my computer to earlier this morning, though, and the program
hasn't worked for a while. Any other advice?

RE: Error 0x80070002

Hello Baileyks,

Switching off anti-virus scanner while updating
Disable all anti-virus, anti-spyware (including TeaTimer) product before
attempting Windows Update.

I hope this post is helpful.

Let us know how it works ºut.

RE: Error 0x80070002

I'm not sure what you mean by "before attempting windows update"--is there an
update I'm supposed to be conducting?
