Vista - Window Firewall - Turn off everytime

Appreciate if anybody could help me this irratating problem.

I bought a laptop with Vista and Norton Internet Security (trial run). I
used to use Norton for the firewall, but recently i uninstalled the norton
program and currently using windows firewall. However, everytime i start my
windows, my windows firewall is turned off - i need to turn it on everytime
manually. As far as i know, i do not have any other firewall program
installed, in fact after i uninstalled norton, i manually deleted any
remaining norton folders.

I use avast! for my anti virus - but i do not think avast! is responsible
for turning off my firewall.

your norton did not uninstall properly! it never does. and i think that cd be
the problem. u may have to reinstall norton AND THEN use Norton Removal Tool
from http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/U...val-Tool.shtml

after having done that use a registry cleaner. try ccleaner.
