windows security alert

In windows security center it states that the Automatic updatings is turned
off. I went to change setting and Install updates automatically but it still
doesn't allow me to turn the updates on. It says that McAfee Proxy Service
Module stopped working on a specific date. Can some please help me to fix the
problem.

Re: windows security alert

Hi,

So what state is now - WU set on install automatically but in Security
Center turned off ?
Try to go to Run -> services.msc -> find McAfee Proxy Service and turn it
off
Next try to on Windows Update.
(dont forget to turn on if will work)

What McAfee antivirus version do you use ?

RE: windows security alert

Hi Veroncia....I have the same issue and can't seem to find anyone to help.
Let me know if you do, as this is a bit aggrevating to deal with basically
all the time. Can someone please help us?!
