| Guest | Allowing program to load without administrative password UAC is preventing firefox from loading on standard user without password. I don't want to turn off UAC. secpol is not found on my system. I want my standard users to be able to run the program without giving them admin password. How do I get UAC to recognize the program is ok? I tried giving firefox admin privileges for all users and that didn't work. Thanks |

The solution here is to make it stop requesting admin privileges. A default install of firefox does not prompt for admin. You will need to first uncheck all the run as admin checkboxes you may have checked. Then, figure out why your firefox is prompting for admin, and then turn off or reconfigure the feature/component/add-in that is doing it. - JB |
