Vista - Windows Vista Firewall - Look@Lan

I normally use the free tool Look@Lan to check the status of the other PC's
on my home network plus those on my 3 permanent VPN networks. I can run this
tool (Look@Lan) from my other 2 network PC's (Win2000 and WinXP Prof) and see
my new Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit PC. On the otherhand when I run this tool
on my new Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit PC all I see is that PC unless I turn
off the firewall on that PC at which time I then see all of the other PC's.
What change do I need to the Windows Vista Firewall to allow me to see the
other PC's while the firewall is tirned on??

You find out what port the program is using, and then you set FW rules to
allow traffic on the port. If you don't know what port the program is
using, then you can use CurrPorts (free) and it will tell the port the
program is using.

Thanks for referring me to CurrPorts. I downloaded it and ran it on both
PC's. Both PC's show Look@Lan using ports UDP 12035 and UDP 12066. In the
case of the Vista PC both ports show when the Firewall is enabled and
disabled. When the Firewall is disabled a couple of other ports TCP 49592 and
TCP 49608 show up - showing connections to other netwowk PC's. ??

I suspect there is only one inbound traffic port that needs to be opened,
which one that is I don't. Usually, you can tell which port it is by just
starting up the program and not have it doing anything.

There should be one port that's just sitting there listening if no activity
is happening with the program, and that port is the one to deal with letting
inbound traffic pasted the FW. You might have to call the vendor.
