Anti Virus Problems

When I bought the computer the first thing I did was uninstall MacKfee. I
then installed Bit Defender, but that had problems. It would routinely get
messages saying "Bit Defendr Stopped Working", with no explanation. So, I
uninstall that and to to PC Security Sheild. It worked for 3 days and then
also stopped working. Same "Stopped Working" message. Uninstalled it,
reinstalled it, froze my computer. Now I have Avast and it seems to be
working OK. Do you think the other two were Vista compatibility problems?
Very frustrated at this point.
Thanks

The software's site would have said it's Vista compatible at its site. You
should be very aware of installing non Vista compliant software on the
machine. Otherwise, you're going to be running into more problems like
you're already having.

Re: Anti Virus Problems

Yes, I double checked PC Security Shield and they said they were Vista
compatible. I don't know what's going on at this point, but I'll see how
AVAST works. Thanks
