Webroot spysweeper won't work. The program installs but it won't run.

You should use Windows Defender, included in Vista, it works really
fine.

or you can use eTrust Avast or even Norton Antivirus, you just need to go to
Windows Update and download the update patch so it can run.

Lavasoft's Adaware SE works fine in Vista.
