Vista vs Kaspersky

I have installed and running Kaspersky Anti-virus 7.0 on my portable
(Windows Vista Business).

Kaspersky thinks it is protecting my pc. ('Computer protection status'
says so.)

However I have the red warning shield (red cross)saying that Kaspersky
has been turned off. When I go to 'Windows security centre' and click
'Turn on now', I get the usual two options ('Yes, I trust...' , 'No,i
would like to verify...'. When I click on 'Yes' - nothing happens. The
red warning shield stays on.

What gives? Its this a Vista problem or a Kaspersky issue?

Thanks for any pointers.

You could try uninstalling and reinstalling. Sometimes that's all it takes
to straighten things out. You could also browse over to the Kaspersky web
site forum and see if anyone else is having the same issue.

Yes. My mistake. I actually chased up and cancelled the one sent
(wrongly) to microsoft.public.windows.vista.file_management
