I suspect something is wrong with my access permissions on the built in account used to start it, but I am not sure what it takes to check. I also just did a fresh install of Vista Enterprise on my machine and was surprised that this issue still persists. "Jesper" wrote: Quote: > Does it crash on start? | | RE: The Windows Firewall service terminated with service-specific To be honest, I would recommend you call Microsoft support. They have a better ability to walk you through what is going on here. This seems like security-related support to me, so if you call (866) PC-Safety (in North America) they should help you for free. --- Your question may already be answered in Windows Vista Security: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/047...otectyourwi-20 "smoov01" wrote: Quote: > no, nothing at all, I tried to see what happened when I start it using > procmon it was not very helpful though.
