windows vista stability not improved

i am a fans of microsoft and follow what they say. i use windows vista on all
my computers. however, i feel disappointed about the quality of windows
vista. in this few months, vista has crashed to blue screen on several
occasions. today while i was scrolling down my internet explorer screen
browsing the web with just a few windows opened, it just suddenly died with a
STOP error on dot4.sys. i have all the latest service packs installed.
seaching on support.microsoft.com does not show much useful information. i
feel vista is not as robust as what it is supposed to be. microsoft, when
will you get things right?

RE: windows vista stability not improved

I started getting the BSoD around the same time with the same driver. Very
annoying after having paid for the full version of Vista Ultimate.

Unrelated to that issue but relevant to the poor quality of Vista, I wasn't
able to install any Windows Features (e.g. IIS, Unix support, etc.), and I've
had a "phantom" update for Windows Update that never seemed to work. With all
of the time that went into this, I'm surprised the system has so many bugs.
I'm hoping the yet fictitious SP1 will fix the issues.

BTW, if Microsoft needs any additional info from me, feel free to email me.
