I cant get msn or should i say windows live messenger to work on vista it works on my xp machine right next to me it gives the error all over the internet but no fixes for me the clockk is right and admin is et all that no firewall or anti virus running at the time what is the problem thanks ahead of time

Are you using a router? I had this problem with my Netgear DG834G. I flashed the firmware to the previous one and it solved the problem.

yes im using a belkin i got the ports forwarded for it but still no go it works on all my other machines next to me on xp but not vista im still trying
