| UserDictionary I used to have a shortcut on my Desktop with the UserDictionary so I could just open it and add and delete things when I wanted.Well I was having problems with my Windows Mail freezing I could not do anything with message.So I did a Live chat with dell and they got it going .But the short version is they deleted my UserDictionary shortcut .I have instructions how to get it back but I have been unable to do it and I just did another chat with Dell and they were no help.Can I contact Vista to help me or what can I do? |

| Re: UserDictionary I may be doing something wrong the link that you gave me was not a help.I did not see a drop down tray .And when I thought I had it figured out I got a message saying that UserDictionary.lex was not a valid file.Like I said it maybe me but I my just have to forget about since I seems unable to do it without assistance. ![]() |

Location: Texas, USA | Re: UserDictionary ulkerin, Did you make sure that you had Show hidden files and folders dotted in Folder Options to be able to see the file UserDictionary.lex? You can see the drop down menu when you click on the arrow in the Text Documents (*.txt) box in the bottom right corner of the Open window. I updated the tutorial and included a image of it opened to help out. Take another look to see if it helps more for you. Shawn |
