Windows Live Meeting 2007

For reasons completely unknown to me (the simple soul that i am) Microsoft Live Meeting 2007 has some issues with vista x64.

The official line is "1 Uploading content is not available on Windows Vista 64-bit."

after realising this was going to be a problem I checked out the extent of the compatibility issue Everything else works fine like App sharing or Desktop sharing and so on the only thing that doesn't woork is uploading files from word, Excel and wordpad the list goes on I tried a few things and all had the same error "This Functionality is not available on 64bit Vist". However for some Bizare reason the upload file function works with Powerpoint! WHY!?! Why can they do that but not make it so Excel and Word work?
