Vista - Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F

Hello
anybody can help me on the following? When I try do download messages from my Gmail account (IMAP), I alsways get stuck at the point of downloading All messages and I receive the following message:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Gmail (giannini.gabriele) account. Windows Live Mail could not download the requested message. A message could not be downloaded from the IMAP server.
Subject 'REQUESTED WEDNESDAY STAFF INDUCTION PRESENTATIONS'
Server Response: The server did not respond to this IMAP command before the connection was terminated.
Server: 'imap.gmail.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F
Protocol: IMAP
Port: 993
Secure(SSL): Yes

First of all, your settings for the email account needs to be POP3. POP3 makes it easier.
GTo change the setting to POP3, log in to your gmail account online. Then, in the up-right corner, there is 'Settings' . Click on that. Then click on 'Forwarding and POP/IMAP' . Scroll down to 'IMAP Access' . Make sure that IMAP is disabled by clicking 'Disable IMAP' . Then scroll down to 'POP Download' . Click on 'Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on' . Then click 'Save Changes' . Now close the internet. Open up Windows Live Mail.

Google Gmail Incoming Mail Server : smtp.gmail.com
Google Gmail Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): smtp.gmail.com
The Gmail SMTP server requires authentication (use the same settings as for the incoming mail server)
The Google Gmail SMTP Server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) on port 465.

That should be it...I will add anything if I discover anything new.
