| Vista Home Premium 64bit | Windows Live Mail will not receive messages. (Error 0x800CCC0E) I am tring to add a Virginia Tech webmail account, but I keep getting the following error message: The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'Virginia Tech', Server: 'pop.vt.edu', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E I followed the directions from the school: Configuring Windows Mail in Windows Vista - Virginia Tech Knowledge Base [answers.vt.edu] I took their advice and disabled both my firewall and virus software (Symantec Endpoint Protection). I keep getting the error message though and the school is out of ideas, so if someone could help me figure this out I would appreciate it. I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium x64. |
