| Vista 64 Premium | MSN on VIsta 64 I am new to vista, and I already have a gripe regarding MSN Messenger I don't like the latest version as it is stuffed full of bloat and adverts, so have downloaded old versions to see if they work. I am up to 7.5 and I get this error. does anyone have a clue which versions of MSN will work on vista, without being forced to the "LATEST" bloat and ADVERT version? This is 7.5 and as soon as yo uclick "no" on the option below, it won't sign in. |

| Vista Business x64 SP1 | Re: MSN on VIsta 64 AFAIK, 7.5 has some security issues. Maybe you should try 8.5 I'm using latest version and it's fine with me. |

| Vista ultimate x64 | Re: MSN on VIsta 64 MSN messenger is a dog. I have not used it for years. Try aMSN (just google it), its a lot like MSN messenger, however this program has all the bloat taken out of it and its stripped down and lighter on the resources. However I personally use Pidgin IM. I strongly recommend you look at the alternative programs out there, you may never turn back to live messanger |
