Help please

I have searched and searched to try and discover a way to disable the sharing folders for windows live messenger which keep a note of sign in names etc. Can anyone please help an inexperienced person delete this file or to at least disable it?

Thanks

Re: Help please

Hi Sheila – you can find the files in the Windows Live Messenger folder under Programs in most cases, but the files shouldn’t be sharing. If you’re worried about things being passed around from user to user, I’d suggest making sure that you’re not checking any of the “remember me” boxes when signing in.

I’ll keep looking for more info for you if you continue to have questions.

Cheers,
Ron

Re: Help please

I think there is an option to turn off sharing folders in live messenger somewhere, also you can always make the sharing file hidden so you cant see it
