Live Messenger/Essentials

I am currently using Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit problem I have that when I do updates it wants to update live esentials & if I do that it installs the latest live messenger which works fine but as i use MSN explorer this gives an error of missing a component click to fix you do this & it still doesn't work, I have given up at present & gone back so it all works just wondered if anyone els had this problem & a solution??

Have you tried just not selecting that update?

Hi Ron, I want the latest msn explorer & live messenger I have spoke to microsoft & if I want it I have to pay for it, which seems a little unfair.
