Vista Tutorial - I dont understand why i cant download and install windows live messenger.

On wedneday i got my laptop back form pc world as it had to be repaired for virus's. I went on it last night and i was able to go on msn but this morning i tried and it came up with the troubleshooter. this didn't do anything so i decided to uninstall msn and then try to install again. i cant not install it any more, which i wierd because it goes through the installation fine but right at the end it rewinds it all and says that it cannot be installed. this is a real pain and if anyone can help that would be great thanks x

Have you done a search to make sure there are no Messenger files still left on your computer? I'd suggest doing this and then removing them.
