Vista Tutorial - Need urgent help with Windows Live Messenger

im having problems since i just recently downloaded Msn
i am getting a error and cannot log in
on my previous version of msn i could log in fine
But now it is just popping up with that error in my below image.
i suspet corrupted dlls or so..
but i have seen many different sites pointing outt to one specific dll
called msxml3.dll


i am wondering if any of you computer pros could help..

EDIT: also i cannot connect to any Microsoft sites so i cannot download the advanced diagnostic tool thingy.

Try switching off your modem for (10min), restart it and see what happens. Switch off your pc also.

im not sure thats gonna help cos its been pointing towards a corrupt file

Cause: MSXML library may be corrupted and may have to be reinstalled

Troubleshooting steps:

Step 1. Re-register msxml3.dll

- Click on the Start menu, select Run and type the following:
Regsvr32 %windir%\system32\msxml3.dll

Hopefully, you will see a window popup that says: DllRegisterServer succeeded in C:\Windows\System32\msxml3.dll is succeeded.

Step 2. Restart your computer and sign into Messenger again
