Vista - windows live mail problems

ok so i have windows live mail on my laptop because i have a eindows live ID
but i sign in @windowslive.com and for some reason i cant see my emails to view them i have to got to windows live .com and heres the thing, for some reason the hotmail account gets emails in spanish and i have a profile in spanish i dont know whats going on im sitting here like....WTF....... so is there some wired thing going on cause a im in new zealand not spain b i dont speak spanish c i cant rember makinf a profile in spanish and c is there a send and recive button???????
