| Vista Home Premium 32-bit & Vista Ultimate 64-bit both Service Pack 2 W7 Pro RTM 7600 32 & 64 | Re: photos attachments to mail Hi kereni and welcome to Vista Forums ![]() It is perfectly possible to attach more than one photo to an email at once. Start a new email message in the normal way, give it a title and some introductory text (if you wish). ![]() Click on Add photos and browse to the location of the photos/pictures that you wish to add. Here I am using the sample photos which come with W7. ![]() Hold down the Shift key and click on the first image that you want to include. Then click on the last. Finally, release the shift key. You can also use Ctrl for non-contiguous images (click on each one that you want) or you can click a single image if you wish. When you have finished making your selection, click on Done. ![]() The images now appear in your email. Any duplicate images, or those which you no longer wish to be included, can be deleted by selecting them and removed by pressing Delete on your keyboard. ![]() Repeat the above procedure as much as you wish until you have the required number of images. Then click Send. Note that sending an email of this size might take time, so be patient. I have used this method to send myself an email with over a hundred images (multiple copies of the sample photos). |

| vista home premuim | Re: photos attachments to mail Hi Thanks for your brilliant and very illustrated answer. unfortunately, I don't have these features... my browser doesn't look like yours. it is the "old" version... I used to click the "attach" and was asked whether I would liek to attach a photo or a document. I have the "attach" button, but it allows me to attach only one photo at a time with no option of choosing photo or documnet anymore (this has only started a few days ago. in the past I could have easily attached more than one file) I have downloaded expolorer 8 and all the problems began, but then I uninstalled it and some features have resulved, but the photo feature. Any idea? |

My example was written using Windows Live Mail, which is what I am assuming that you are using since your post is here. @whs Nice tip. Of course, you can preselect your images beforehand and place them into a folder which you can then Zip. It is then just a simple matter of adding the folder as an attachment to your email. The only drawback to this method is not everyone will be able to extract its contents if they don't have a suitable program installed. Both Vista and W7 are able to do this natively, but earlier versions need a 3rd party application. |

| Vista home premium 32bit | Re: photos attachments to mail But a Zip folder is nothing extravagant. In fact it is very easy to handle. And many mail servers allow only 1 attachment - so a .zip is a convenient way. Another method is to upload your pictures (e.g. to Photobucket) and then send the link. |
