not able to receive mail

I have viewed all of the previous threads and attempted to resolve this problem. I am unable to send mail. Receiving the following error message:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Re: tahoe Q4 air void damage.', Account: 'pop.coastalnow.net', Server: 'smtp.coastalnow.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

hi and welcome to vistax64

that error is an incorrect port number usually trying to connect vis ssl when not nec. Have you checked the specs from your mail server/ISP

info on the cause and cure can be found here on microsoft Exchange Server client receives an error message when it tries to send or receive e-mail: "Socket error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800ccc0e"
