    New contacts forever offline?

So I went to add someone to my Windows Live Messenger Build (15.4 something) And i was able to successfully add them, but i can't message them and they never appear online.

the only way I was able to talk to this person is in a 3 way conversation with someone who miraculously was able to be added to my list and even now i STILL Can't talk to her on the client. I can talk to her on the windows Live website thing. Any tips?

    Welcome,
Rather than take time trying to figure this out, it may be best just to switch to another client, like Yahoo. With Yahoo you can contact those that have Windows Live Messenger. The two messenger services became compatible in 2006.

Personally, i'd rather use Windows Live. Yahoo is WAY too flooded with Bots and crap, and security is a joke.
