Hi I have to create a new account and thus I needed to add friends from scratch. However, when I add them I never see them online and it seems like they don't get a msg from MSN saying so and so wants to add you.

However, when I give them my new live id and they add me. Everything works fine.

Now this is not a major issue for close friends or people I'm still in contact with through other means (even though it's really troublesome), however with friends that I only used to contact exclusively through msn, it's near impossible for me to let them know I have a new contact.

Please do advise.
