After clicking Sync/button, my Windows Live Mail does not even attempt to send or receive mail. No error occurs, at least none that I am aware of. Settings for POP etc. are same as on my other laptop. How do I get it to at least try to receive and send e/mail. I am using Windows Live mail 2009 (v.14), I don't want 2011, and 2010 can't be found anywhere.

Check your network to see whether your network is shutdown or off. And, check the sever settings of your Windows Live mail to see whether you have written the information in the right way.
