Who has Deleted Your From Your Windows Live Chat List

    Hi!

I've searched everywhere for an answer to this and I'm unable to shed any light into this discrepancy.. I hope someone here can help me out..

So.. This is regarding the 'Who has Deleted Your From Your Windows Live Chat List'..

In the new mailbox - There is this option where you can restrict access for some of your 'Messenger Contacts'.. However, when I tried to do this for one particular Messenger Contact of mine, I found that their Name is not searchable in the search option for this feature from where then I can restrict their access.. EVERY other contact is searchable...

Now what I can garner from this is that maybe that contact has blocked/deleted me from their Messenger/Contact list..

However, when I follow the conventional methods of checking whether they have deleted me from their MSN or not.. I'm usually able to see that they haven't.. Like checking the .. Tools > Options > Privacy > 'See who has added you to their contact list'...

However, I am not sure how reliable even this feature is because a contact of mine who did have me added to their list wasn't appearing under this list in my Messenger..

I hope I've been able to give an explicit explanation of the issue I am facing..

Can you please help me find out whether I have actually been deleted by this user or not?

    Thanks in Advance!

Hi there, and welcome to the forums.

I honestly don't think that there are any tools that can tell you whose deleted you or such, and any tool claiming to do is probably a scam or a virus.

Try creating another account and add both accounts to each others contacts list, then look at the Tools > Options > Privacy > 'See who has added you to their contact list'. If the name appears, then block yourself on one of the accounts, then check the list again to see if they are still there.
